  • Let’s talk. We’ve all been touched by death and non-death losses amidst unusual times. This presentation explores unique manifestations of grief during the unpredictability of COVID-19 and beyond. How can we best support ourselves and those around us? Together we will identify new tools for coping amidst grief, explore special considerations for grief after suicide, and learn about personal grief styles.
Objectives:

Presenter: Tina Barrett, EdD, LCPC, Executive Director of TGRC With over 20 years of experience as a licensed-counselor and program leader with growth-oriented grief programs and non-profits, Dr. Tina B. pulls from experience in schools, hospitals, private practice, group homes, treatment centers, and nonprofits into her workshops. She serves on the Leadership Team for Project Tomorrow Montana, and on the Board of Directors for the National Alliance for Grieving Children (NAGC) and Advisory Board for the Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors (TAPS). Barrett received the national Community Educator Award from Association for Death Educators and Counselors (ADEC).
