Toolkit – Get Covered Again for Medicaid and other insurance options
Download the Toolkit from Cover Montana About the campaign: 1 in 10 Montanans have lost Medicaid or Healthy Montana Kids coverage since April 2023 and Cover Montana wants to make sure they don’t stay uninsured. This toolkit serves as a guide for organizations, community leaders, and Cover Montana partners to get involved in the Get Covered Again campaign and make sure that Montana communities Get Covered Again. Many who lost coverage still qualify and need to re-enroll in Medicaid or Healthy Montana Kids. Those who are over income eligibility for Medicaid or Healthy Montana Kids have access to a special enrollment period through November 30, 2024 to enroll in a Marketplace plan at Healthcare.gov.

Includes an overview of Medicaid programs in Montana, helpful guidance for managing Medicaid cases, and a live walk-through of an online Medicaid application scenario. Who: Good for community-based organizations and businesses that interact with Medicaid-eligible people and families including health centers, food banks, childcare providers and school support staff, housing service providers, domestic/ intimate partner violence organizations, mental health providers, case managers, and others.

Human services and health care providers, parents/ caregivers, and other folks you work with in your community Where: The Nurturing Center, 322 2nd Ave W Ste B & C Kalispell, MT Details:  Workshop Presentation: 1:30-3:00 PM in person to learn in a more formal, structured presentation, and share your ideas for spreading the word about the importance of Medicaid Expansion renewal! Drop-in Conversations: 5:00-6:30 PM in person for you to stop by when it's convenient, learn in a more informal way, ask questions, and share your story!
