Make-A-Wish® South Dakota & Montana has a volunteer opportunity to create hope, strength, and joy for a child with a critical illness. Are you interested? Create hope, strength, and joy for a child with a critical illness. Become a wish granter! Make-A-Wish South Dakota & Montana needs change agents like you to raise their hand because together with volunteers, we transform lives one wish at a time. Wish kids are waiting all across Montana and South Dakota for their wish granter to be assigned. The volunteer role includes opportunities to meet with the wish child and family members in-person and virtually to help identify the child’s most heartfelt wish and create a magical wish journey for the wish child. Prospective volunteers complete an onboarding process which is initiated by submitting a volunteer application and for the wish granter role has several steps, notably including a criminal background check and attending a three-hour virtual training. Training classes are scheduled on a rolling basis, the next upcoming on April 25 at 5:30pm MT.
